13th Jan 2010 - First Entry

First Lesson of CMNS 1290.

As opposed to my initial understanding of PR, which serves as the bridge between the organisation and the general public, the field of PR is categorized into Brand PR and Corporate PR. The formal deals with marketing of a corporate products, while the latter deals with concern of the organisation's public image.

Through the lesson, it was comprehend that PR is much powerful than advertising in the event of creating product awareness. True enough, words of much recommendation is much reliable and possess more persuasive power.

It's definitely more exciting to learn more of the subject in the upcoming workshops.
